Deng Abukalam Bak has been appointed head coach of the Twic Mayardit Football Team, according to an appointment order issued by the Twic Mayardit Football Association (TMFA) in Juba on Aug. 15.
The appointment order, signed by TMFA President Charles Chol Mel, also names Dium Chris Cyer as assistant head coach and Ador Biar Manyang as trainer.
Cyer had been serving as acting head coach following the resignation of former head coach Ring Ring Gum in July 2026. Ring Ring resigned after what he described as interference by the team's secretary general in player selection.
The new technical team will oversee the team's coaching and training activities with immediate effect, according to the order.
The appointments come as Twic Mayardit prepares to continue its campaign in the ongoing Bahr el Ghazal Counties' tournament competition in Juba.
