In a statement shared with his followers, Long said he was responding to a video circulating online in which Lady Kola allegedly discussed their relationship during a TikTok live session.
Long said he was not heartbroken by the breakup and maintained that he was the one who ended the relationship.
According to Cherry Long, the breakup was not related to allegations of cheating but followed the release of Lady Kola’s song “Raan Amok.”
Cherry Long said he had been in a relationship with Lady Kola for two years and four months and expressed respect for the time they spent together.
He wished Lady Kola well in her future endeavors and urged the public to allow both artists to move on. Long said he decided to speak publicly after seeing people mock him over the breakup despite, in his view, not knowing what had actually happened.
He concluded by saying there were “no hard feelings” and asked for peace of mind as both musicians move forward.
The claims in this report are based on Cherry Long’s public statement, and Lady Kola has not yet responded to his side of the story.
