Acuoth, who holds a bachelor’s degree in IT and is a master’s degree finalist in cybersecurity, said the application contains Dinka words from different sections of the Jieng community, together with their meanings in English.
The Dinka-English Dictionary is currently available on the Google Play Store for Android users.Acuoth said the iOS version is under review by Apple and will be made available to the public once it receives approval.
The application provides users with a digital reference for Dinka vocabulary and its English meanings, offering a technology-based resource for language learning and preservation.
