Twic Students Association Donates Food and Essential Items to University of Juba Students

The Twic Mayardit Students Association in Higher Universities and Learning Institutions in Juba has donated food, household supplies and personal-care items to Twic Mayardit students residing at the University of Juba hostel.

The donation was made under the leadership of association chairman Daniel Reech Mam and is aimed at supporting students’ welfare and easing some of the challenges they face while pursuing higher education in Juba.

The donated supplies included foodstuffs, household items and personal-care products.

Among the food items were five units of rice, four units of beans, three units of brown lentils, four units of red lentils, 110 kg of sugar, cooking oil, flour, spaghetti, salt, charcoal, tea and a bag of onions.

The association also donated five bars of soap, five bathing buckets, four lamps, two charcoal stoves, two heaters, two power extensions, an electric iron, a charging spot and six pieces of toothpaste.


The initiative reflects the association’s commitment to supporting Twic Mayardit students in higher learning institutions and improving their welfare during their studies in Juba.

The association said such initiatives are intended to strengthen solidarity among Twic Mayardit students and provide practical support to students facing challenges while living and studying away from home.
